Chain of Memories:
"The game seems to repeat KH's events,
though the perspective is a bit different and there
seems to be some memory theme around the story.
I've seen at least two Unknowns so far. The other
one is an aggressive red-haired guy (Axel), I don't
know who the other one is. I can't understand any
of the dialogue because I can't read Japanese, but
there seems to be a lot of dialogue in the game, which
means: a lot of character story and development!
The graphics and FMVs are very good for GBA. I'd say
they're near the level of PSX games. Sounds have seemed
fine too. There is no spoken dialogue, but Sora says
things like "Ha!", "Donald!", "Goofy!", "Heal!" etc
when doing things in battle, and I've heard Donald,
Goofy, Genie and, IIRC, Axel, saying some things during
a battle.
The battles occur in real-time, though they now take
place inside a battle screen. Sora fights the battles
alone, but he can summon Donald and Goofy to do some
attacks in the game. The battle system is heavily
based on the use of battle cards, though I can't tell
you much about it since everything's in Japanese.
I've heard you can summon Cloud to help you out too.
The music quality is nice for GBA. There are a few
new tunes, such as the Unknown/villain theme and a
few new boss themes. The old world and battle themes
also return. For example, Traverse Town and Hand in
Hand are playing in Traverse Town.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories will be released
in the US on December 7th 2004, and as for us Europeans,
it's estimated that we'll have to wait until March
2005 or so. I'm soon getting impatient while waiting
for the English version of the game... xD"
